B2-C1 Advanced
This course is for you if you can use perfectum, imperfectum and the future tense. You can also use irregular verbs and prepositions. You can understand main points from standard text and write a text. You can use conjunctions and adverbials, create passive sentences, subordinate clauses and sentences with inversion. You can create and use sentences with ‘er’ and ‘would’.
This course is not often chosen. To see whether the B2 level has been achieved, we will first do a short test.
To reach the C1 level, two courses are required, just like the other levels: B2 – B2/C1 and B2/C1 – C1.

Babbelen!
My students could read. They could understand grammar. They could even follow a Dutch dialogue. But when it came to actually speaking? They got stuck.
That was the moment I knew something was missing.
In the traditional courses I taught, the exercises in the books weren’t designed to really encourage conversation. The topics often felt flat or irrelevant and while students understood Dutch, they didn’t feel confident using it in real life.
So I designed Babbelen – The Dutch conversation course for everyday chatting.
Here’s how it works:
🎧 At home, you listen to podcasts for example about Dutch habits, holidays and frequently used words.
📺 You watch series like Oogappels or de taarten van Abel
📖 You read accessible, engaging stories like Anne Frank or Vrienden voor het leven (based on the movie Intouchable).
Then in class (max 6 people), we don’t repeat the theory.
We talk.
We do speaking exercises based on what you’ve listened to, watched or read. All in a relaxed and safe environment, with a cup of coffee (which you order yourself in Dutch 😉).
The focus is simple:
✅ Interesting topics
✅ Real conversations
✅ Building the confidence to actually speak Dutch
Because learning a language isn’t about filling in exercises.
It’s about using your voice.
